Haber salido limpio en investigación sobre irregularidades electorales, puede estimular a Joe García a lanzarse por el Congreso en el 2016

(NP)-For months, former U.S. Rep. Joe Garcia has mulled running for Congress again in 2016. One thing that could weigh on his decision: It looks like he won’t be getting charged in a federal criminal investigation into his 2010 campaign. Prosecutors likely had until early November — five years from the 2010 election — to accuse Garcia of any wrongdoing under the statute of limitations. That date came and went without any charges being filed. “The Force is strong with Joe Garcia,” Garcia attorney David O. Markus said in a statement to the Miami Herald that invoked Star Wars. “Justice prevailed.” (En NAKED POLITICS)
